As we have two more new categories, I tried to create two new icons for them.

To the Doves of peace there are two versions one with the usual blue background used on the sky in the icons and the other with a white background.

Great work, thank you. I would prefer the icon with a blue background because it also represents two allowed peace doves.

I like the dove with the blue background for the Peace doves - so simple and elegant, I think that is really beautifully rendered, Razalas!!

I do think the VOR waymark needs a tweak - that Vor thing looks like a martini glass to me, And we all know what happens on alcohol-soaked flights to overly-alcohol-soaked flyers YIKES - 

Maybe use the red grid navigation radar aid instead of the big mushroom thing -- see this waymark, and look at my visit image for an idea, if you like:  http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/WMEDB9_LAX_North_ASR_9_Radar_Los_Angeles_CA

The VOR station is not easy to identify. But I also cold not identify a real one when I first came across it, so maybe it is appropriate, I do not have a better idea. But please no radar! They are easier, but they are not the primary focus of the category and should not be represented so prominently in the icon.

The original size is 24x24px, but there are some places, where the icons are shown a bit smaller, for them stronger lines are better. I personally prefer the one in the center.

There was a new submission to the category is when I noticed it was there. 

Doug, is a graphic designer, perhaps he made it. Do not know when it was posted, however, It was most likely wayfrog who posted.

I assumed it was a temporary stand-in. The rainbow-coloured structure looks more like playground equipment, and nothing like a bridge or tunnel. The icon that razalas has prepared is in my opinion a better representation of the category.

This is the Department icon, all new categories created within this department receive this icon until an unique icon is created for it.
