+weston wanderer
I am intending to buy a new laptop soon with Windows 8 OS. The only thing that is stopping me so far is compatibility with the programs I use for caching - GSAK and Memory Map V5. Has anyone else tried installing these programs on Windows 8 and are they compatible? If not I could hang onto my old laptop just for caching but would really prefer to use one laptop for everything. Thanks in advance for any input. Quote Link to comment
+FatOldSun
I have Memory Map European Edition 5.4.2 running on Windows 8, runs as smoothly as it did on Windows 7. I've never used GSAK so can't comment on that, but in general most software which ran on Windows XP, Vista or 7 will run fine on Windows 8. Quote Link to comment
