c(e2e)< Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 So I just looked into this the other day, and decided it is definitely something I want to try out. I went out for the first time today, to three separate cache sites, and came home empty handed. I was just wondering if anyone has some tips for me to help me get started with my first find. Also, does anyone know of a good place to find a geo-buddy? I would love to do this with other people, but don't know of anyone else who might be interested. c(e2e)< Posted December 29, 2012 Author Share Posted December 29, 2012 Thanks, I did check out that forum, which doesn't seem to be quite as lively as this one, but hopefully I can get hooked up with some cachers in the area. Of course I was all excited to go out this weekend, but have now come down with stomach flu. Maybe I'll find my first cache on the first day of the new year! Quote Link to comment

It'd be a good opportunity to meet other geocachers and maybe pick up some tips. You can learn a lot just by listening to cachers swapping stories. Quote Link to comment
