Vacation in March 2013

Living in NW Ohio I have a vacation coming up in March 2013 and I am looking for a place to geocache that is no more than a days drive from NW Ohio. I have about a weeks time. Somewhere warm that at most requires a light jacket.

Any suggestions? Oh, and I like cheap but clean accommodations.

Thanks for any ideas.

You really left this one wide open. If we had a week, we would try to target certain challenges along the way. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, we drove down to the Lake Lanier GA area. It's beautiful and we were able to fill some very old gaps in our Jasmer Challenge. We were able to pick up a few along the way that also helped. Take a look at our finds from that weekend. We couldn't fill those dates here in Ohio.

Are you talking early or late March?

DC can still be wintery and raw in early March, and affordable lodging hard to find at any time of year.

What kind of caches do you want to find?

What kind of terrain are you looking for?

What are you interested in when you aren't caching besides cheap clean lodging?

Nashville TN and Asheville NC are both within a days drive.
