North of Milton Keynes, if you go caching anywhere near the river, you'll find that the fields are submerged. For example, MKBW Green 2.

We couldn't get to a Mission Impossible cache in Milton Keynes today, because the river had burst it's banks. Ironic really

If any of the three caches along that route were on the ground, they'll have floated away, I should think. There was also one on the bridge over the Ouse that I took those pictures from - if that's anywhere near the ground, it might well be in jeopardy too.

 

Maybe cache owners should disable the caches that are underwater? I mean, those that aren't supposed to be underwater.

Well there's one benefit, Dr S - any dogs in the water will be so busy trying to swim that they won't be nipping at your ankles as you cycle through it!

I had a log this weekend about a cache of mine in a park in Swindon saying it was found under water... but that it was dry inside! Good test for the ammo box....
