All of my old cachelogs are just lost somehowe... Anyone more that have the same experiance? When I go to your profile, I can see 71 pages of "found it" logs there, going back to 2010. If you want to see ALL the logs you've posted, go to http://www.geocaching.com/my/default.aspx and click the "Geocaches" link under the area that says "Your Logs (Last 30 Days) Show all logs for: Geocaches, Trackable Items, or Benchmarks" B. I know that it looks like I started in 2010. But I did start in 2001 but I did no caching for about seven years from 2003-2010. And the caches before that is just gone from my finds. +Isonzo Karst
You need to email to contact@geocaching.com about this problem. It's not common at all. If it's possible to retrieve your 2001 - 2003 history, they'll do it. Quote Link to comment

+K13
Maybe all of your old finds have been archived, and no longer appear on your found list. Quote Link to comment
+Don_J
Maybe all of your old finds have been archived, and no longer appear on your found list. Doesn't work that way. If you have a found log on an archived cache, that cache still counts and will be in your list of found caches. Quote Link to comment
knowschad
Still no response Are you sure you were logging from the Keesen account, and not some other? I have never heard of finds being lost like that, but I suppose it could happen. Quote Link to comment
+Keesen
I´m sure. I have had this account since 2001. Quote Link to comment
+snow_rules
My logs from 2001 still show up so it doesn't appear to be an issue with the older finds. Your status shows an you have been a Member Since:Friday, 12 October 2001 so that is the right account. Quote Link to comment

I'm just curious. You started caching again in 2010. Did the old cache finds disappear recently, were they missing when you started back up or you aren't sure and just noticed it? Edited to put the question at the bottom rather than up in someone elses quote. OOPS! Edited November 9, 2012 by Trinity's Crew Quote Link to comment
+Keesen
I think they where missing from the start but I'm not sure. I did not take THAT many back then. It was a bit more work to find the caches with that GPS Quote Link to comment
+Keesen
Now I did get an answer. They need to know the name of the caches i took back then. I did not tought i needed to write them down to keep them. I just dont remember the names after 10 years. Quote Link to comment
Jusu
Don't you remember anything about any caches you found in the beginning of your caching career? Even the first cache you found? Do they actually request a complete list of all caches where logs are missing, or would it be enough to tell the names of some caches? Anyway, you probably know pocket queries? You could try creating a query that gives a list of caches that were around at that time. I'd guess there were much less caches than today. It won't list archived caches, though. So, something like this: - You don't necessarily need to set a day for running the query. Using preview could be enough. - Tick "I haven't found" - Set the origin to point where you have cached at that time - Set Placed During. Begin date should be as early as possible. (I wonder why you can select even year 1997...) End date could be the date when you started your long break, or an earlier date if the result cache list is too long. - Submit the query, then use preview. Edit the query if necessary. Hope that refreshes your memory. Quote Link to comment
+jellis
Aren't there hidden or missing logs on old caches between 2000 and 2004? Quote Link to comment
+Keesen
I gave two example of caches I found back then. Discribed where they where placed and that one of them was a CD-changecache. The other one I told them under what building it was placed. I Juts dont remember the name of the caches Quote Link to comment
+Keesen
Now I know that geocaching.com dont do anything wrong. They say that i dint have any logs before 2010. I just wonder why I become a member back in 2001.... Strange It's not possible to get any lost logs back. Quote Link to comment
