tylerconnor
So me and my 2 boys (6 & 8)went out for our first day and went 1 for 3. Which is cool...they don't need to be super easy. But I could not get anymore to show up on my iphone. Even after we clicked "found it" it still showed the same 3. I drove to where the website shows there is one, but even when I was parked very near it would not show it on the phone. Also, one that shows up on the phone is not on the website. 1) Why don't the caches on the phone and web "match up"? 2) Do I have to do more than click found it to get a cache out of my queue? and will another fill in? Thanks. Edited November 1, 2012 by tylerconnor Quote Link to comment
+niraD
It sounds like you're using an app that uses the Geocaching Live API, which restricts non-premium members to downloading the full cache data of only 3 traditional caches per 24-hour period. http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=330 But according to that page, you should still be able to retrieve "light" geocache data (GCxxxxx code, name, coordinates, difficulty-terrain ratings). +AKStafford
For me it was worth it to pay the $10 for the full app from Groundspeak. We cache regularly and having right tools just makes it all the better. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
You could always download a different app and manually input the co-ordinates by visiting the cache page on a computer. Quote Link to comment
