+Ade3
Hello folks looking to by my 1st as a newbie is http://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Groundspeak-geocaching-trackable-travel/dp/B005EKEHGO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top @ £5.79p the most competative out there? Best I can find from a quick search. Adrian. Quote Link to comment
+stijnhommes
No, it's not the most competitive unless Amazon ships much cheaper. https://www.thegeocachingshop.com/trackables/travel-bugs has tags for 4.59 GBP. And http://shop.geocaching.com/default/international-retailers/ has a list of several other UK retailers. Besides, most online geocaching stores allow you to buy much more than Amazon and buying more than just the tags will help you save shipping costs. Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
There's a UK specific list of online sellers here http://www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk/resources/retail.html you'll find much better prices than on Amazon and the people who run some of those shops are well known geocachers so I'd prefer them to have my cash then some faceless mega company Quote Link to comment

Thanks for the reply,I have trawled through the uk retailers list but £5.79 inc P&P still seems most competative. The above though £4.59 + "All orders within the UK are charged at a flat rate of £3.99 £3.49, this is irrespective of the number of items you buy. This shipping cost covers packaging, delivery and labour". All sites seem to start out roughly the same then whack it up with the P&P some more than others it's just for what ever reason the Amazon one seems the best P&P at 0.80p I don't really want to splash out on other stuff I don't really need at the moment, but I hear what your saying. +Ade3
Have a look at http://www.cache4u.co.uk/ as they have had very good offers on travelbugs as well as cache containers. Thanks for that, a good site and TB price wise just missing out on Geotee's by 20p so in the right ball park, I wonder if the site would do better if it had a checkout? I know they are trying to keep costs down, It's an unusual one I guess I'm just used to clicking and adding to a basket and proceeding to checkout. Quote Link to comment
+Jacaru & Wemnog
Another good site for you if you want personalised TB's is http://mygeogear.com/ based in Australia they can do photo tags for you and having dealt with them myself I can recommend. Fast delivery too. Once you have submitted your photo/artwork they get the approval from Groundspeak and usually have it with you within 10 days of order, and sometimes a lot sooner.
