The receiver is the Garmin COLOR GPS 76CX. This unit sat on the dashboard of my truck for 2 years. It is in great shape.

--BeanBag dashboard mount with swivel base

--2 128mb miniUSB cards for maps. I will preload both cards with Garmin TOPO maps for any area you designate (each will hold about 1 average size state or a portion of a Canadian Province)

It acquires satellite signals quickly and tracks your location in challenging conditions, such as heavy tree cover or deep canyons. The 76Cx's bright, color TFT display makes it easy to distinguish details on the screen in any kind of lighting

 

It's waterproof and even floats in water.

 

The card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment, so you don't have to worry about getting it wet. When navigating on the road, the 76Cx provides turn-by-turn directions to your destination. It also accepts optional preloaded microSD cards with MapSource® data for your off-road and marine excursions.
