+Mike & Jess
I have a few ideas for new cache containers going out next summer, but thought I would see if there where any better ones out there or ones that could be easier to transport. I'm looking for totally out there cache containers you would never expect to see in the middle of the bush. To give you an idea of what I am looking for, I've got a mail box (on a post) in the middle of the bush as one of my letterbox hybrids. It got a few laughs. Quote Link to comment

+CanadianRockies
I found an LPC off-trail in the middle of the woods. It was a small lamppost brought in by the cache owner. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
And there's always the classic "micro in the woods" using a recycled/repurposed microwave oven. Quote Link to comment

That is what I was thinking... Original thought was a fire hyden on a 5/5 hide. Don't think I could get it into the location though. Would be pretty funny to find however. Quote Link to comment

How about a cache in a George Bush Halloween mask in a bush? Quote Link to comment
+FrogMastr
I personally have a "large" cache in about a 4Km trail in the wood, the name of the cahe refers to something like "what is the Buzz" after the page cration, i placed a "log" telling to "Be" carefull because there was a big wasp nest near the ground zero... and the cache is in fact a Large "milkbone dogtreat" (2 gallons) with grey cloth around it and looking exactly like a Huge Wasp nest! at this moment still have 100% favorite ratio on this one Quote Link to comment
+lamoracke
in a bush? Well, not sure its the most unusual, but the most annoying one for me to find was a pocket pager in a bush which was attached by its strap. Just took me forever to find given its size and type of bush. Quote Link to comment

AZcachemeister
I thought we were talking about unusual CONTAINERS? A magnetic nano seems pretty mundane. I have one that looks like this: A Silver Bison in a Tree Unscrew the valve and pull out 50 feet of 4mm cord to get the log out. Quote Link to comment
+McFlyAway
Let's see. I once found a letterbox hybrid which was a lock-n-lock in a bush. It was sitting on top of the bush. Quote Link to comment
