Bookhud
I have the opportunity to purchase an etrex Legend for $150 after the Garmin rebate. This would be my first GPS receiver and wanted to know if this is a good deal. Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment
sunsetnkc
wish I would have found mine for that amount. I really like mine. God doesn't deal us a hand, he only supplies the cards and says "Go play" Quote Link to comment
TheGreenFarm
Agreed, that's a rockin' good price. Quote Link to comment

+mr.magoo
EMS (Eastern Mountain Sports) has club days twice a year where EVERYTHING is 20% off. Between that and the $50 rebate. it dropped it down to $150 so I couldn't wait and picked one up! Still learning it (my first GPS) but so far I like and have found 2 cache in 2 days Quote Link to comment
+Team Teuton
I got my Legend on Ebay for $145 with shipping, that's about as cheap as I've seen them. My advice is to decide which GPS you want, then do an ebay search for that model. You can even have them email you when that model is listed. Be patient, read the seller's feedback, don't get emotionally involved in the auction, there are PLENTY of GPS units on ebay. Quote Link to comment
+David
Got my eTrex Legend about 3 weeks ago from amazon.com for $199 and free shipping, with the $50 rebate, I'll have $149 in it. Comes with the $40 PC cable, so that drops it below the price of a Yellow at Wal-Mart. Can't beat it. I'd do it again. Quote Link to comment
Greg&Angie
I got my Legend a little over a year ago from gpsnow.com for around $200 plus shipping. Check them out before you buy off eBay, as the used units are going for as much as new units these days, which is good for us ;-) Greg Quote Link to comment
Gnomon
for the Legend with the Topo mapping software for $239, the software lists for over $100 by itself, subtract the rebate from that and you're in good shape to go! ~Glenn Quote Link to comment
