Gitchee-Gummee
Common question and apparently has come up a goodly number of times just recently.... While I don't KNOW the answer -- try this: Zoom your map closer, then try to click the cache icon. Quote Link to comment
Heli Leo
I too sometimes have this problem and have found that if I move my cursor around until the cache name shows and then click I'll get to the cache page. Quote Link to comment
T.D.M.22
Same here. I find if I zoom in or out once then it will work. to my inexperienced eyes it kind of seems like while the images load, the links to be able to view the caches don't. I've also noticed that sometimes on my computer I have to wait for a 20 or 30 seconds before any links will load, although I think that's just my computer as it does it on Facebook as well. mac367
I thought this was just me. I was trying to look at some caches this weekend in an area I was travelling to but could not get the info by clicking on the map. I am still having the same issue today. I have tried the zoom in zoom out in the past, but that doesn't seem to help. For what it's worth I have a Lenovo laptop, using Google Chrome. Quote Link to comment
Steve0512
Try going to Java.com and update to the newest version of their software. Look for the big red button in the middle of the page. You can't miss it. I can't tell you how many times this has cleared up little glitches such as this for my clients. Quote Link to comment
The A-Team
Try going to Java.com and update to the newest version of their software. Except the maps don't use Java. They use JavaScript, which is part of your browser, not your Java installation. Updating Java will have zero effect on the functionality of the maps. For anyone coming across this discussion and having the same problem, you'd be better served adding your voice to one of the many already-existing discussions in the Bug Report forum: Geocaching.com maps and clickable caches issues Non interactive map with Google Chrome Geocache Map - Not possible to select caches - MAC only Hovering over geocaching bubble Map Bubbles don't display Quote Link to comment
