Logging an Event Cache

Some do, some don't. It's a matter of personal preference. I don't because in the beginning events were "found" and I always had an issue with the concept of finding my own cache, event or real. It has since been changed to "attended" but I still don't log them as attended because I feel that I already have credit for hosting the event.

Others disagree and don't hesitate to log attends on their own events. It's a generally accepted practice and nobody is going to whisper behind your back and point fingers at you for doing it (as might happen if you made a habit of logging your own real caches).

Log it as attended, if you attended.

It is possible to organise an event, and then fail to turn up for it!

Exactly. Some times, the event host has life get in the way, and can't attend their own event.

I've seen lots of hosts log their "will attend" as well. So logically, if they were able to attend, they can also post an "attended" log.
