Logging multiple caches at once

I have on several occassions, gone on a power trail and had to spend hours logging the caches once found. Since my iPhone allows me to log a cache right away, it is handy. However, the battery doesn't last long enough when doing a power trail. There has to be a simple way to log a large anount of caches at once. When I complete say, 100+ caches on a trail in a day, how can I log them quickly instead of doing them one at a time? My last one was over 150 caches and it took me forever to log them as found. I wish I could select them all on a list and then hit one button to update the GPX files to show as found and enter a log entry. Any ideas anyone?

Are you using field notes? Or are you visiting each cache page and selecting the "Log your visit" link?

I use the log your visit link. Don't know any other way right now. I know some cachers use a thrid party program to do it, but there has to be an easier way.

You do understand that your method and complaint is nothing short of Evil (Big E), right?
