+Woodland Clan
Hello, I will be in Vegas for a conference, but have Saturday from 10am-6pm and Monday, from 8am-noon for caching. What would be the must-dos aside from the virtuals on the Strip (which I got on prior visits). I was thinking of possible heading down to Primm, over to Baker & Shoshone, and looping back via Pahrump or slightly more north on Saturday. Monday morning would be sepnt grabbing the virtuals in other parts of Vegas and surrounding caches in proximity to these. I'll have a rental car with 4WD and decent ground clearance. Thanks for any input provided. Having just met Me & Bucky this week while he was passing through KC, I'd like to grab a couple of his hides.... Quote Link to comment
+Kris32
There's an event Sat 9am, but perhaps you can't get there at that time. Are you hiking or power trail or urban oriented? Me&Bucky has earth caches up at Red Rock (west side of town) which can involve some hiking. I don't think I have done a lot of his. Urban--MR57 pinky caches and Zzyzx989 Mr Bison caches are favorites of many, often challenging caches small power trail-ish (not like ET highway)--if you look at my brain fart moo cache and expand eastward you should see it; also down in searchlight, there are trails (these are relatively close together trails), small walks to most caches Most locals are on FB at Southern Nevada Geocaching (but not Me&Bucky)...
