+cmanofmaps
I recently got some money for my birthday that will allow me to buy an actual GPS for geocaching (been using my iPhone up to this point). I'm interested in both the Garmin Etrex 10 or 20, but the 20 might be a little too pricey for me. What I'd like to know is if I were to try and buy the 20, is it worth the money over the 10? What are some of the pros and cons of each? Also, is there another kind of GPS that would possibly work better at around my budget? (about $100). Also, if you're selling either of these units in good condition I'm interested in offers Thanks for the help everyone! Quote Link to comment
+Atlas Cached
Save some more $$$ and get the eTrex 20 at minimum, or an Oregon 450/550 when they go on sale. Alternately, Magellan has the eXplorist GC for a little more than your limit... I only use Garmin products, you will have to research the Magellan for more info there. Quote Link to comment
+cmanofmaps
I've heard that Garmin products are definitely good. What are the reasons that the eTrex 20 is better than the 10? Pretty sure the Oregons are out of my price range but I might go for a 20 Quote Link to comment
