+eusty
There isn't an 'import' facility such as on opencaching AFAIK. Just create a new listing for a cache Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Hi evetone I new to geocacheing and I was wondering if it is possible to import a cache I have hid to this sight and if so how ? No, you can't just "import" a cache from another site. You need to submit a new cache listing for review. The first step in the process is reading the Guidelines, and reading them again: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=11'>http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=11 The Help Center contains a lot of valuable information for both hiders and finders: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.book&id=1 Hiding Your First Geocache http://www.geocaching.com/about/hiding.aspx B. Just because the other website allowed it doesn't mean this one will. Of course there is nothing wrong with cross listing, however Geocaching.com is more popular than any of the other ones IMO Quote Link to comment
+Droo
Near the top of the Geocaching.com home page there is a row of drop down menus. The first one is LEARN and the first choice is GEOCACHING 101 with loads of information on how to play this game, how to create caches and how to submit them for review and publication onto the site and much much more. Seriously..... it's all pretty easy reading and you'll learn a lot. Edited September 16, 2012 by Droo Quote Link to comment

Of course there is nothing wrong with cross listing, however Geocaching.com is more popular than any of the other ones IMO Someone came to the forums of another alternative Geocaching website I strongly support and frequent about a month ago, and asked if they could upload their caches like the Garmin website there also. I replied that Garmin is the first one to ever try that, and that I bet they will be the only one to ever try it. I have cross-listed about 30 of my caches since 2004 on a few alternative sites. No, I suppose there is nothing wrong with it. It's just that "uploading" them never occurred to me before, and like I say, I don't ever expect to see it anywhere else but on Opencaching.com. And most certainly not here. Quote Link to comment
