Cos they're the best, made by us for us and exactly what we'd charge ourselves, free, you can donate for the service if you wish. The default basemap that comes with the GPS or the topographical/street map or the Ordnance Survey Great Britain map? +Graculus Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 The OSM map is by the the better because it doesn't go 'fuzzy' when you zoom right in and shows you detailed streets. The OSGB maps will go fuzzy as you zoom closer. If you have the OSGB on a memory card you can install the OSM maps to main memory and simply switch between them in the map options.
