my thanks for a great mission and geocoin...drneal said he'd post a picture as soon as he figures out how to use a camera he just got, and if he can get phtobucket to work properly.

Thank you very, very much to Six Little Spookies for the great card, AWESOME Hedgehog geocoin, and the pathtag! Will post pics tomorrow. This was a really fun mission and it was nice to receive from a fellow USAF person! Steve and I are both retired Air Force. Love the coin, btw - I had wanted one for a while, but couldn't decide which one. Love the one I got! THANKS!

A quick Halloween Mission, signup will end 9/28/12 and all names will be sent by 9/30/12. Mission package will consist of one (1) unactivated regular sized geocoin (1½ in or larger no micro’s) and a Halloween Card, your mission package should be mailed no later than 10/14/12.

Please report the following in this thread to keep us up to date on your progress;

 

1. Participating

2. Received Name

3. Mission Complete

4. Mission Received

 

Note if participating you will be responsible to get a card and geocoin to your assigned geocacher even if the one you sent is lost in the mail!

Please Note: All mission must be in the mail right now, if you are wait for that something special please let me know, it does not make for happy people when missions are late or not followed through!

I'm a little late posting that I have sent my recipients card and coin last week on the 9th but don't see that they have received it yet and they should have it by now I'm guessing. Still waiting on mine to get here also.

Went on a last minute New England 'Peeper Loop' and returned to a pile of mail featuring a bubbler from California with an Amelia Earhart coin and Pathtag. Thank You Steben6!!! (also drove outgoing through 5 of 6 New England states w/out the address, sent when I got home!)

Jake received his mission from yanagi. Being a puppy he is very excited about it. Will have to work very hard to take a picture of him with his card and coins. If we can't succeed, we'll show you what he got anyway :laughing:

As promised here is a picture of the mission we got:

My kids love "Gummibärchen" and the balloons so they were very happy when I took these out of the package. I had problems to save them to take a picture first. :)

 

Thanks kini_ont for hosting this nice mission!!

 

Edited to add: the coin is a Halloween themed GC&P Club October 2009 - Jack-o'-lantern including a matching pin which is not on the picture.

I got my Jack Skelton Halloween card and coin along with some eww creepy crawlies yesterday. I loved the thought put into this one and that was a nice coin. Its "The Old Leather Man" coin. Pretty cool. I had to google the name because I have never heard of him and he looked like he was well known. Thank you so much for the nice card and coin! :D

We finally had a chance to take some pictures of Jake and the card, coins and pin he received from yanagi :rolleyes:

Both coins are very nice but he prefers the cute one with the doggie on it especially since it is engraved Jake Latour - Halloween Mission 2012. You can't have more personal than that.

 

Thanks again yanagi for sending Jake such nice gifts! And also thanks to kini for hosting this mission.

Our second mission arrived sometime earlier this week from LewisClan77 with not one, but two geocoins! The sent a Masters of Cache and a Halloween coin. I'll get photos up soon! (I know, I know, I still owe pics from the fusty mission that came in!)
