LeLegume
For sale: Garmin GPS V, for $10. Also included is an RS-232 to USB cord, so you can connect the device to your computer through a USB port. It's a good starter GPS unit. It's hard to enter coordinates while "in the field" because you have to use a four-directional button to enter data (instead of a keypad), but it does work well in terms of directing you to the coordinates. If you download the cache coordinates in advance, it's really easy to use. You'll have to bring along other information about the caches, though, since this just captures the GC code and the coordinates. (Or, go caching with someone with a smartphone.) I used Easy GPS (http://www.easygps.com/welcome/default.asp?geo=United%20States&gps=Garmin%20GPS%20V) and information from this website (http://www.elsinga.net/delwaypoints) to help me figure out a few things about this unit.
