If you move closer it does look like he's holding a GPS. Then move past the car onto the bike path and rotate the view until you can see the stop sign. The car and the alledged geocacher are missing but there is a rather conspicuous looking blue box attached to the stop sign.

If you go to GC.com maps, you'll find that there are two caches in the area but neither are at the stop sign.

When did GSV visit the neighbourhood? A couple of years ago? Perhaps it's been archived in the meantime.

 

Has anyone got co-ords/ a more specific description? That link is just taking me to the general area, not sure exactly where I'm looking?

Yes...but sometime the GPS mess up and take you nearby but not really close. Happen to me alot when I was a newbie. UGH. Dont ask for any stories about that.
