Beckler Peak Hike This Sunday 8/26

We plan to hike up Beckler Peak (off of HWY 2) this Sunday (8/26) This is a new trail that just opened last year. So it's well maintained and is considered a "family" hike. It sounds like there are excellent views from the top.

 

lucyandrickie got on the stick and placed a cache up there soon after the trail opened last fall. We are finally getting around to going up there to find their cache.

 

Since this is a fairly moderate hike, we thought we'd post on here to see if anyone else was up for a day hike this Sunday.

That's one I've wanted to do since the trail opened, but I'm busy on Sunday. Please add a hike report--I still hope to get up there this fall. Have fun!
