+kasi78
Good Morning, next week I want to visit Prague for some days and after I checked the roadmap and the city I found 1 million caches. Now I want to ask you for some special Caches in Prague and surroundings and between plzen and praha. My favourites are lost places and some interesting points with a nice view or some interesting hidden places. Kind regards Kasi78 Quote Link to comment

+kulhal
kasi78: This is a very difficult question. Yes, there are MANY caches in Prague and around Prague. Many of them are very nice, some of them not so much - as everywhere. A very good indication is the number of favorite points allocated to every cache. Another possibility is to search by the attribute "Recommended for tourists". What I would do is that I would just walk through the old town and I would simply try to attempt the traditionals that are on the way. Even in this random way you would find many nice caches. If I should name very few caches that come to my mind: Dum u Cerne Matky Bozi (architecture + nice hide) Terezka (simple, but it is the most visited cache in the world) Wenceslas square (daring hide + it is the 2nd most visited cache in the world) Water Sprites in Prague (nice Wherigo) Lennon Wall (interesting piece of recent history) Petrin Hill Gardens (nice view of Prague + nice hide) ...and many more - as I am going through the geocaching map, almost every cache in this area is worth visiting. In the area west of Prague there are again many opportunities. You can visit the area around Karlstejn castle and Krivoklat castle (historical monuments, very nice nature and many nice caches), Zebrak + Tocnik (a small town with adjacent village with many nice caches + 2 castle ruins + nature). And there is also Pilsen, again with hundreds of caches. The choice is yours . Quote Link to comment
