magicirishman Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I accidentally created the same cache hide twice. Is there anyway to delete a cache that has not been submitted for review yet? Quote
RuideAlmeida Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I you deselect the box "Enable cache listing. It is ready for review. (If the listing is not yet ready to be reviewed, uncheck this box.) Note: Only 'Enabled' cache listings are visible to the reviewer.", the reviewers wont see your listing... but the GC code will be maintained, unused though. Quote
+Great Scott! Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 You can archive it by writing an Archive log. Or you can leave it as an unpublished cache and reuse the cache page (and GC number) for your next cache hide by editing the cache page when you are ready for that cache. Quote
+Gitchee-Gummee Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Short answer: NO, you cannot 'delete' it. Once a cache ID # is issued, it stays issued, not to be ever issued again -- even archived caches still have their cache ID #. No real need to Archive it, either. Just make sure one has the ENABLE box unchecked. You may, if you desire, blank out all that you have filled in on that one you do not submit. It will remain immediately accessible to you for your next cache submission. Quote
