Travel bug bumper sticker

I purchased a travel bug bumper sticker for my car. It remains in my inventory to be 'dropped off.' Is there something I need to do so it doesn't appear in my TB inventory?

Remove it from your Inventory and place it into your Collection.

 

Such a move prevents somebody from "Grabbing" and "Placing". Their only selections are "Discover" or "Note".

At the same time, it removes it from your in-hand inventory so as to not clutter. Problem with that is: You yourself cannot log it as "Visited" to any cache.

 

It's a Catch-22 --

either it cannot be logged (aside from Note or Discovered) and not in your in-hand inventory;

OR

it stays in your in-hand inventory so you can log Visits (but it CAN be Grabbed)!

Depending on what your 'mission' for that TB is....will depend what you do with it.

 

My vehicle TB gets 'visited' to all caches that we put favorite points on....... so I need it to remain in my inventory so I can visit it while I'm out geocaching.

 

And yes.....Leaving it in your inventory will allow someone to 'drop' it in a cache. However - If that ever happens, you should be able to 'grab it from somewhere else' and get it back into your inventory.

You could move into your collection, and then when you find a cache you want to visit it to, move it back to your inventory. Its more work that way. Personnel I would keep it in the inventory and if someone grabbed it just grab it back.
