klanners
Bear with me, I'm new to this. I dropped off a travel bug this past weekend and by the time I got to a computer to log the placement it had already been picked up. So, on the geocaching website the bug isn't available to be logged as part of my log for the geocache and isn't an option in the trackable's log either. Any way to "go back in time" to log the placement? (Or does it even matter?) Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+hardyp3
That also happened to me. It's probably moot since the TB is already picked up (grabbed actually) so would not show up in the cache inventory. I just edited my log for the cache to say that I dropped off such-and-such a cache and let it go at that. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
What I've done to repair the TB history a couple times: - grab the TB back - drop the TB in the cache - delete the "grab the TB back" log - send email to the person who grabbed it from me explaining that they now need to post another log to take it from the cache and get it back into their inventory Edited August 14, 2012 by niraD Quote Link to comment
