+fudgem
According to info on viewing caches on Google Earth, as a premium member I should be allowed 250 map views a day, but I am getting the message that I have reached my limit after a very short period, no different to when I was a basic member. Is there something I am missing? I am signed in to the programme, and it shows my status as a premium member Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
Is it possible there is a different .kml delivered depending on the downloaders status (PM or not)? Just an idea. Try downloading and loading it again now that you are PM. Also, it's recommended to set the .kml to NOT refresh automatically in order to get the most out of your '250 views'. This way you can drag the map (in several stages) to the area you are interested in and then hit refresh to view caches in that area. Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
Make sure you set the auto-refresh to off. Quote Link to comment
+fudgem
thanks for your replies, partial success achieved by turning off auto refresh, but when I did click refresh, the ones I was interested in didn't appear so I think I'll stick to viewing on the Geocaching site Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
Also - the Google Earth purposefully skews the data so that the cache appears with a fudge-factor - sometimes off by hundreds of yards. Read here Quote Link to comment
