Finding caches by waterfalls in Ontario

There is not way to search for caches specifically near waterfalls but when making a pocket quary

you could add the attributes 'swimming required' or 'wading required' and some caches near waterfalls will most likely turn up.

Another way to do it is to find waterfalls online and then search specifically if that waterfall has any caches near it.

I love waterfalls and would like to find caches near them in Ontario. Is there a way to search for caches that are hidden close to a waterfall?

Check the cache page of a "waterfall" cache and see if there is a bookmark list on the right-hand side.

I started a bookmark list of "waterfall" caches, then forgot about keeping it up-to-date.

The Hamilton area is home to a lot of waterfalls. And the Owen Sound area.

Pup Patrol, your bookmark list isn't accessible to the rest of us. (Or at least not to me. Something I said?)

Oops. I thought it would be visible. It's listed on the cache pages, so I assumed...d'oh!

It's not a very thorough list, like I said, so yeah, easier to list off the caches:

GC1373J Eugenia Falls

GC15AYR Hogg's Falls

We haven't searched for these yet (the bookmark list is my "to-do" list):

GC1HZAD Forgotten Falls

GCJF1G Anthea’s Waterfall

GCJJRY Minniehill Falls

This cache is archived, but there are other caches in the area, which you can find by looking at the map:

GCNHHV Brooks Falls

You might want to take a look at the cache hides by Bent & Twisted. Most are archived, I think, but a lot of them probably have new hides for the waterfall locations:

Have a look at this Waterfall cache/series, which was one of the best caches of all time in my opinion. http://coord.info/GCJMCX The description shows other waterfall caches in the series, which are all archived, but there are new caches placed since near most of those.

Also for the Hamilton area, look at Blue_Eagle's http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=fbbdd95a-bf97-4f44-93fa-efa5a56e8bf5 cache hides as he had hidden quite a lot of waterfall caches.

Would be faster to look at Bent & Twisted's profile:

Two years or so back I was in Ontario for a wedding. While waiting for the date, we visited this one, Rock Cut Falls, which was not too far from my sisters place at Maple Leaf.

Surprisingly active in the spring as were the blackflies and mosquitos. I'd forgotten what May in Ontario meant.

I mashed up a photo from 3 and posted it there.
