sharifah
I am using a Garmin eTrex Legend HCx I have always used the 'send to gps feature" from the geocache site. I now want to plan a route. I have built the route and have the GPX files loaded onto the memory card of my GPS. It won't read them. I suspect I'm missing a step. From what I'm reading, I need a software program on my computer (I run windows), that will translate the GPX file into something readable for the GPS unit, and then will send the whole thing over. At least I think that's what I understand.! Any recommendations on the EASIEST program to use or someone willing to walk me through this process. I feel like I've picked up a geometry book in a foreign language some days!! Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
The unit cannot diretly read GPX files. EasyGPS is the easiest software to load the waypoints. Be aware you are not going to get the descriptions or logs or anything like that. http://easygps.com/ Quote Link to comment
