+TheStevensonCrue
Just starting out, and I found a micro cache today that needed maintenance so I logged it as such. Then I noticed that I didn't get a smiley for finding it. So I created another log entry for finding it. Was that the right way to do that? Thanks, Rich Quote Link to comment
+strontium87
Hi Rich, Yup, that's the way to do it: one log for maintenance and another for finding (or not finding!). Hope you're enjoying geocaching. -RED Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
There have been a few proposals to add a sort of checkbox on the find log form to also mark it as Needing maintenance. But for now - it does require 2 logs. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Yep, there are instances where you might not find a cache and have reason to log a NM, for instance you are certain the cache is missing. Because of that a NM doesn't increase the find count. Quote Link to comment
