+Delta68
We're going on holiday to York next week. Does anyone have any cache recommendations? Yes! We spent an evening there last year on our way up North and amongst other things did the virtual GC4762 The Stonegate Devil and the excellent York City Walls Trail GC23VTC etc Mark Quote Link to comment
+Happy Humphrey
I agree that the Stonegate Devli is worth seeking out. Angels and Demons is another one handy for the city centre, and Seems a bit Fishy is another classic in a very nice spot. Aside from those, take you pick from the list of Favourited caches! The ones which Happy Humphrey recommend are good, we did them in May, also worth seeking is Holes in walls http://coord.info/GCAFE6. If numbers are your thing we can heartily recommend the Yorkshire Mega series 2 http://coord.info/GC2V5AR which is about a half hour drive out of York, we did that series over 2 days but you can do it in 1. +ayrbrain
The Stonegate Devil was my introduction to caching a number of years ago. Friends in Lincoln are great cachers and they showed us how to cache. A few years later I took up the sport. Quote Link to comment
