+TJ Willy
Does anyone have any used SD Memory cards for sale cheap? Or does anyone know where the best price on the web is? Thanks, Phil Quote Link to comment
ikayak
After checking around local (Costco and computer big box stores), I found that eBay was the best bet all around for SD. Just set an absolute top cost limit and watch for those people that add $6.50 for shipping on an item that could go for 77 cents. Quote Link to comment
+TJ Willy
I, too, thought ebay would be the best place. I checked there first. I am seeing that most places are selling for around $70 but they want 10 - 12 dollars to ship the item. THAT IS LUDICROUS. Thanks for the info though. Quote Link to comment
ikayak
I got my SD off ebay, like I said. I had the time to watch carefully. Even though I paid $3.50 for priority shipping, I could wait till I could win SD that was real low bidding to boot. If I needed it fast, I'd probably have bit the bullet and paid the Costco price. I use it in my IPAQ. At the time Costco's price was about 2/3 of regular retail. Right now their San Disk (on line too) Secure Digital 64mb is $39.99, I paid $30 for that on ebay 8 months ago. Simple Tech at Costco is even cheaper at 64mb. Both brands are $69.99 for 128. Good luck in your shopping! Quote Link to comment
Sportcat
Amazon has some great prices on SD cards, plus I beleive it is free shipping on items over $25!!!! Quote Link to comment
+dasein
...from ebay seller Blueproton. Got two 128Mb Smartmedia SD cards at $58.95 each plus 13.95 shipping/handling for a total of $131.85. Plus, we didn't have to waste our time driving around the city, and they were delivered to our door. Oh yeah, this was also a 'buy it now' option, no auction. We also saw current ebay auctions where the exact same product was already going for more than we paid for 'em. Quote Link to comment
Sportcat
It's crazy what people on ebay charge for shipping. You can Priority Mail up to 2 pounds for $3.85. Those SD cards weigh less than an ounce. But it sounds like you think you got a good deal... and that is what ebay is all about. Quote Link to comment

+TJ Willy
I was able to find an ebay seller worth buying from. $62 bucks for 128mb card with only $6.00 bucks to ship. Insurance is a little more. Here is the link to my closed item: SD Card - 128mb - ebay Thanks for the posts. Phil www.lageocaching.com Quote Link to comment
+Zahrim
If you are willing to buy online, goto www.pricewatch.com and do a search for 'sd'. Pricewatch does all most of the searching for you, and will list many stores where you can buy just about any type of computer related items. Zahrim....
