I downloaded GPS Connect, Garmin Comm plugin, and Babel, all for the Mac OSX. I have Etrex Venture gps. All that will download into my gps are loc files. What am I missing? Is my gps not good enough to get complete gpx files? HELP Quote Link to comment

Although these statements may be true, they lack an answer to the question. The answer is no. Your GPS CAN handle GPX files, you just need the right software.
