30 day premium membership

Hi! I am pretty new to the site, and I love geocaching. My grandfather just surprised me with a new gps. In the manual it told me about a free 30 day premium membership. How does this work? I other words, could I use this to upgrade my existing account for 30 days, or does it apply only for new accounts? Thanks for any help!

If you are already a Premium Member, you will get an extra 30 days added.

It is a magellan explorist gc. So If I have a regular account, it will upgrade it to a premium membership for 30 days?

Not sure how the Magellan offer works -could be a voucher code?- but yes, as a basic member you would get 30 days Premium Membership, or as PM already 30 days would be added to your membership renewal date.
