I have a problem. My forum signature will not delete. How does one change/remove/modify a forum signature?

When you go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/default.aspx in the "Your Profile" box, click on "edit" to go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/editprofile.aspx

 

Then scroll down to "Forum Signature" and delete it there.

 

You may need to log out, then log in again to see the change.

Go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/default.aspx

 

Then click the link "Review forum signature"

 

That opens a separate box http://www.geocaching.com/account/preview_forumsignature.aspx

 

which shows your current signature, which you can then edit/change.

 

Is that not happening for you?

I changed mine just now, so it seems to work. There's a process (as the above posts say).

Yes, it works. I just took the chance to change mine right know.

 

The trick is to sign out and in again, to see the new signature.

Just to be clear, you need to sign out from the forums, and sign back in.

You must log out of the forums, not just out of GC.com for changes to take affect

I just assumed the OP would understand that logging out of the forums and then back in was what we were talking about, as the title of the thread is "Forum Signatrure".

Yes, but to change our forum signature, we need to log onto a different website. (Geocaching.com). Now, we're logged into two different websites. People have been confused before, so why not be clear?
