Nevada

its hard to tell what is truly good on its own merit in Nevada as so many caches have high favorite points for being on/near the E.T. Highway. If you are just doing E.T. highway cache #1, surely that cache is not worth 402 favorite points for itself.

If you are going to Reno, here are some I liked.

Try a Wherigo for first time? This one is a great one to do for your first one.

I thought this was a very good puzzle and hide. Ask the CO perhaps for a hint if you are stuck on the puzzle.

Why not post in the appropriate sub board?

What sub board would that be?

The West and Southwest board: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showforum=23

It looks like maybe you are planning a trip. If so, you might give your planned route and just ask if there are some must do caches along your route. We'd love to help you plan it out. We just need a better idea of what you are seeking.

If I wanted to know what people in New York though was their favorite cache in Nevada, what sub board would I use, if any?

At any rate, my favorite cache in Nevada would be any of the now archived physical caches in Valley of Fire State Park. "Loop to Loop" and "Si02 Dome" stand out. It's my guess that both of the caches are still in place.
