Changes made from version 3.90 to 4.30:

Added ability to sort waypoints alphabetically

Added support for Kenwood NMEA Waypoint Sentence

Improved GPS response at low speeds

Fixed issue with preserving routes imported from BaseCamp (identical maps required)

Fixed issue where the map would sometimes not refresh when using the active route page

Fixed issue with the Glide Ratio data field

Fixed Spell Search in German

Fixed possible issue with Where To? > Address searching

Ok folks, this version is good to go. Updated and nice to be able to sort waypoints alphabetically or nearest.

I updated yesterday, no issues after the update. Besides the listed fixes the bug I reported a few months ago was also solved (restoring archived tracks on the device deleted waypoint files).

Installed. Hoping this will fix my "out of memory" issues and large gpx file size boot lock ups.

 

Map scrolling seems much faster now.

Correction to my earlier post! This version is NOT OK.

 

Has anyone taken a closer look at the elevation data yet?

 

The total ascent and total descent fields are not calculated correctly anymore.

The values are much smaller than reality and than the graph shows.

 

The trip odometer value on the other hand increases more than reality. Seems very sensitive.

If you move the device a little while standing still, the meters/feet are added rapidly.

And why not also allow alphabetic sorting of tracks?

Have any of y'all tried using serial data with v4.30 yet? I tried it a few versions back, with no luck. I may try again and see what I can do.
