+Ianatlarge
Several online fora of which I am a member have "pinned" pages. These pages remain at the start of each forum and sub-forum, and provide specific and introductory information to people using the forum. For example, the thaivisa.com/visa sub-forum provides pinned guidelines on how to live in Thailand indefinitely and remain at least 8 time zones away from your ex-wife, "back in the world". Would the Waymarking forum benefit from this feature (not the x-wife). I was thinking that one entry could be of a list of websites that provide useful information for waymarkers. For example, I have come across websites which list and describe war memorials in Australia, a website that lists and describes public statues. We could build a community resource of useful info. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I'm pretty sure there are some "pinned" pages on the Waymarking Forum archives, but since I can't access the archives.... Great idea! Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
Pinned topics are used in other sections of this forums and can be done easily. (the actual "pinning" not writing the content) If anyone wants to write content I can get it pinned. Edited June 9, 2012 by BruceS Quote Link to comment
