How do I connect a gps to the computer?

It is the magellan explorist gc

I hooked it up and it showed this box of options but none helped.

You may have to install a driver to get it to work. Did you check the Magellan site or the discs that come with the unit?

I only checked the Magellan site. And there aren't any disks.

Import pictures and copy pictures.

Are you trying to send cache to it? Then you'll need this:

Download and install the communicator mentioned above. Then all you have to do is plug it in. Any options that pop up on your computer, just ignore them and close them. Then go to the geocache page you wish to download, and select the option "send to GPS" and in the pop up window select Magellen, then download.
