When you use the "Hide & Seek" function and get a list of caches, what does "D & T" refer to? What does clicking "D" or "T" do?

D = Difficulty

T = Terrain

 

The higher the difficulty & terrain, the harder the find.

 

Typically, you will see many beginner caches at 1 1/2 D and 1 1/2 T.

Actually, the first click puts the highest rated (hardest) caches at the top. The second click will reverse it so the lowest rated (easiest) are at the top.

 

Keep in mind that sorting the Difficulty column to have the lowest difficulty ratings at the top doesn't necessarily mean those caches are overall the easiest. A difficulty 1 cache may have a terrain rating of 5, meaning that it's easy to find, but very difficult to get to. The easiest caches are rated 1/1.
