+TanTil
Since a few weeks CacheMe supports the GcLive. CacheMe is meant to be simple, intuitive and funger friendly. It supports several map types incl Nokias terrain maps etc and supports the built-in GPS and magnetic compass if present. The switch to GcLive has allowed for several nice new features like a search function and live logging from within CacheMe. A free and unrestricted maemo5 version as well as a free but time limited symbian test version are available from the CacheMe homepage. An unlimited symbian version is available from the nokia store. +TanTil
According to the store, the application is not available for E72. When could that be expected? CacheMe needs at least symbian s60v5 and a touchscreen to work. The e72 runs s60v3 and doesn't have a touchscreen. Sorry. Quote Link to comment
+Diddí
It'a great app. Using it since the first days. Now where it's using the Live API, it's going better from update to update. Quote Link to comment
+Tre-da
I got CacheMe recently as the Geocaching Live app is being retired but was not impressed as I could not get it do what I wanted. Can you record your found caches and then get a list of these later and does it work if there is no phone signal? I cache on the moorland where there is often no phone signal. Quote Link to comment
+Diddí
No - the list like in the good old GC Live app is (at the moment) not included. You can use CacheMe with PQs.If you select "Cloudmade" as map type, you can download the area whre you will go caching this day, by zooming in and out and moving around the location. CacheMe will save uo to 30MB of these "offline" maptiles which will be available, even if you don't have a phone signal. Edited August 20, 2012 by Diddí Quote Link to comment
