+Love Cachers
How do we find out who has our cache on their watchlist? On the cache website it tells us that five are watching it but we don't know who they are. Quote Link to comment

+terrkan78
Unfortunately you can't find out who's watching your cache unless the "watchers" voluntarily tell you. Frequently the "watchers" are (1) someone who already found your cache, enjoyed it, and wants to read future logs on your cache; (2) someone who couldn't find your cache (whether or not they logged a DNF) and wants to read future logs to see if others can find it; (3) someone who dropped a trackable into your cache and they want to see when it gets picked up; (4) on a brand new cache, someone who wants to see who the FTF is. I'm sure there's more reasons, but these are what come to mind. Quote Link to comment

You can't see who is watching your cache, but you can see who has looked at your page (with some exceptions). Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
I'll mention that your cache may be bookmark lists, and those list owners are getting logs - the equivalent of "watching", but you don't know that, unless the list is "public". Public lists appear on the listings, shared lists don't, and private lists don't. Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
Also, people can get the details on your caches through Pocket Queries. No audit trail or list of watchers would show that. I have information on THOUSANDS of caches and I've never visited the cache page or have it on my watch list. I think the watch list is one of the most outdated ideas on this site. It was great in the beginning, but the functionality is limited, and there's always these questions of "who is watching" that keep turning up. I think that every account should be given one standard bookmark list "Caches I'd like to watch" - and that it default to hidden and notify. It'd also be nice to be able to add trackables to Bookmark lists. That way, everyone still gets a "watch list", but with the Bookmark functionality, and the "who's watching my cache" questions go away. Quote Link to comment
