+dharma cache
I found a cache today that must be archived - would I be able to find it if I only know the name of the cache? Where would I look? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
I found a cache today that must be archived - would I be able to find it if I only know the name of the cache? Where would I look? Was there a logbook? Look up one (or more) of the logged cachers, check their profile and you can find the cache page. Edited May 30, 2012 by Gitchee-Gummee Quote Link to comment

Pup Patrol
I found a cache today that must be archived - would I be able to find it if I only know the name of the cache? Where would I look? I just tried searching for a few caches that we've found that are now archived. No, searching by cache name did not work. If you know the cache owner's name, or the names of other cachers who have logged it as a find, then you can find the archived cache listing. Was there any information in the logbook, such as the GC code or the owner's username? What were the most recent names in the logbook? Do you have the coordinates of this cache? oh, wait, I've seen your log for GC3KBEP: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=4b679cea-5ac4-4810-b41c-d0d78379ba71 B.
