spiritwater247
Ok so I get how to do that what If I get one that's like 56.7586 38.8675 I put it in google and it takes me across the world Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Hmmmmm.... are you using a GPSr? From the point where you receive that information (usually) you project that waypoint (with your GPSr) 572 ft at 309°. Google doesn't enter into this process, you do it with your GPSr. If you prefer..... you could simply walk a distance of 572 ft on a bearing of 309° without having to bother with projecting a waypoint. Puts you in the same spot (if you walk true and straight)! Edited May 30, 2012 by Gitchee-Gummee Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
Ok so I get how to do that what If I get one that's like 56.7586 38.8675 I put it in google and it takes me across the world Based on your previous finds, those numbers look more like just the minutes portion of some coordinates, not the entire coordinates. Can you send me the GC code of the cache you're working on by email? Don't post it here, because that could spoil the cache, which is against the forum rules. You can send me a message through my profile here. I can take a look and see if I can find where you're going astray. Quote Link to comment
