+W4G_SOTAGoat
There are some people discussing a GeoCruise and possibly having a M&G event the night before departure since quite a few of us will be overnighting. The event would be open to everyone, and we would encourage attendance by locals so we can get to know some of our counterparts who are out of state. Are there any restrictions on hosting an event in an are where you do not live? Quote Link to comment
+The A-Team
Are there any restrictions on hosting an event in an are where you do not live? I don't think so. I can think of a few events in my region that were put on by visiting cachers. Go for it! Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
People do it ALL the time to give themselves an opportunity to meet the locals. GO FOR IT! Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Common for any us that live near a state border. Quote Link to comment
+humboldt flier
Go for it, A friend from Illinois and myself from N.W. Calif. are co-hosting and event along Hwy. 375 west of Rachel Nevada. Saw one in the San Francisco, Calif. area hosted by a cacher from Germany. In the words of Larry The Cable Guy ... "Git 'er done." Quote Link to comment
