MM Eclair Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Once having downloaded goecaches from GEOCACHE.com to my Garmin GPSMAP 62st, can they then be deleted from the device? Quote
+terrkan78 Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I have an older Garmin, but hopefully the process is about the same. Once you get to the screen on your GPS where it lists all the geocaches nearby, hit the "menu" button. That should bring up a menu where one of the options is to delete. Quote
+J the Goat Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I think you actually can't delete geocaches from the device unless you're hooked up to your computer. That's the way it was with my colorado at least, and the 62 is along the same lines I think. Quote
+eusty Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 You can only delete all of them, although Basecamp can modify the GPX file and then re-upload it again....but best to start with a new GPX file. Connect your PC and delete the GPX files in \Garmin\GPX, when you reboot then the unit will be clear again ready for a new GPX. Actually I just noticed you are not a PM, so there maybe just LOC files in the folder. TBH if you use a GPSr then being a PM is worth the money Quote
