+CreekyClanChris
Hello! I'm not much of a forum user, but hoped that perhaps the collected wisdom of Geocaching-dom could help with this problem. I bought independent map software a couple of years ago, and installed it on my Garmin Oregon. I quite like it. Recently (okay, not 'recently', but certainly not always), Pocket Queries now include the surrounding road-map data. I see mountain peaks, forests, gas stations, topography etc. This isn't the end of the world, but I prefer my own mapping software. Is there any way to select to get ONLY cache data when doing a Pocket Query, and strip out the surrounding map information? I am a humble supplicant, forever in your debt. Cheers; CCC Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Check the detail settings for the map on your unit. I assure you that the additional map data is NOT coming from the PQ data. Quote Link to comment
