It's a long story and I won't bore you with the details but we ended up with TWO handheld GPS units when we began geocaching!

 

We do not need two units so we're selling one...we have over $530 invested in the unit ($450 for the unit, $60 for the North America Lower 49 Street Maps, a 2GB SD card and $20 in shipping)
