New, need some help

My wife and I are new to the game, started 5-11-12, since then we hunted 6 and found 4; anyway we had agreed that we would find a few before we tried hiding any ourselves. We want our first one to be a real doozy because of the hunters we have in our area, before we can do this we need to first know all the rules in hiding cache POIs. Here's the landing page for the Knowledge Books Chapter on hiding. A lot of reading, but many of those chapters are probably not relevant to your hide (Beacon, Night Cache, Earthcache etc)...The first 12 chapters probably are relevant. Each article is fairly short. And it's much quicker to read, then it is to not read, and then be told to go out and redo/move your cache.

 

Pay attention to cache saturation, its the the #1 reason for caches to not be published!
