+CanonShooters
In preparation for a new multi cache I have built a web page on my computer. It is now installed on a server and works well. Is there a way to place a link to this web page in order for it to serve as the cache description? It contains several photos. Or is there a more preferred way to enter the description, photos and all, into the long description? Thanks for your help. Quote Link to comment

+CanonShooters
This Help Center article may be useful: HTML In Cache Descriptions I saw this and have played with some of the ideas from their input. My primary question is can I (simply?) somehow reference (link to) my web page copy on my server? It is a fairly complete build of the page the way I would like it to appear, including 10 photos. It can be seen at the following link: http://www1.pacific.edu/~rturpin/personal/stuff/geocaching/PacificHistory101/PacificHistory.html If such a link cannot be used I can probably build an html image that will work. Thanks for your imput. Quote Link to comment
+dprovan
The description needs to be on geocaching.com. That's what allows it to be downloaded into GPSrs. (It also avoids depending on the availability of your server.) So focus on how to move what you have over into the geocaching.com description. This will involve copying the correct parts of the HTML from the page you've created and moving any pictures. Alas, depending on what you used to build the page, you might not be able to recreate it exactly as you've created it. Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
I have never seen a cache page that was only a link to another webpage. Hard to tell if TPTB would allow it, but I kinda don't think so since most cachers would expect the relevant info to be displayed on the cache page without clicking through to elsewhere. In any case, it looks like an awesome fun multi I would be proud to include in my FOUND list. Quote Link to comment
+Cardinal Red
I have never seen a cache page that was only a link to another webpage. Would you believe Letterboxing allows exactly that. It's a very interesting alternate universe, but a little crazy too. Quote Link to comment
